Fall is in its full bounty. Many people are figuring out what they’d like to cook with the fabulous vegetables and fruits that abound at farmer’s markets and in groceries.
In the new episode of the CulinaryWoman podcast, I highlight two different kinds of autumn produce — squash and pawpaws.
Now, you may be familiar with the many varieties of squash, but you might not be as familiar with pawpaws.
They are native to the United States. George Washington grew them at Mount Vernon and they make delicious desserts, especially gelato.
Join me as I talk to Andrew Gorsuch at the Produce Station in Ann Arbor, Mich., and travel to Owosso to visit Bill Nash’s pawpaw farm.
