Say Beth Howard’s name, and it’s often followed by, “pie.” She’s the proprietor of The World Needs More Pie, her popular blog and Facebook page. She’s written about pie, taught thousands of people how to bake pie, and has traveled the world baking pie.
But she makes pie with a flavor of social activism.
From Newtown, CT, in 2012, to Minneapolis this summer, Beth shows up when she sees a need for comfort, and fills it by baking pie.
