An Ice Cream Recipe To Delight Your Friends
From celebrity chef Patrick O'Connell at the Inn At Little Washington
As regular readers of CulinaryWoman know, we are not a recipe newsletter. You have lots of options from many more talented cookbook authors and creators. However, once in a while, a recipe floats in that sounds so delicious that I have to share it with you.
That’s the case with this butter pecan ice cream recipe from chef Patrick O’Connell at the Inn at Little Washington. I’ve been making the trek to Washington, Virginia, for years. The Inn is one of my favorite dining experiences of all time. We began going there before it was as famous as it is now, and we always got fabulous service and food, as you might expect from a three-star Michelin restaurant.
It’s National Ice Cream Month, and ice cream is my favorite dessert. We have some wonderful ice cream places here in Ann Arbor and in the greater Detroit area — I definitely recommend that you try the ice cream at Shatila Pastry in Dearborn.
In the meantime, get your ice cream makers ready and delight your friends with this one.
