This week brought the finale of the Great Canadian Baking Show (spoilers ahead) and the third to last episode of the Great British Baking Show. I have loved writing these reviews for you and hope you are enjoying them.
Do people in England really eat sausage rolls at parties? I have always thought of them as a snack or a substitute for a sit down meal.
But it was Party Week at the Great British Bake Off, and the signature challenge for the five remaining bakers was something you don’t often see in this form in America.
Sausage rolls have a pastry exterior and are filled with sausage meat and some kind of condiment, such as mustard, or apricot, apple, cranberry jam or other sweetish flavors.
