Dear CulinaryWoman readers,
When I launched the CulinaryWoman Newsletter in June 2020, I had a goal in mind. I hoped CulinaryWoman could break even by the end of 2021.
How did I come up with that calculation, you might wonder? Well, I set aside some of my other journalism work to focus on the newsletter. My breakeven number equals the income I gave up to launch this project.
I’m delighted to say that you’ve gotten me almost there.
From our readership numbers, and your comments and emails, I know a growing number of you are enjoying the newsletter.
The past few issues have brought us our highest views yet — this week’s edition featuring the year’s top cookbooks looks like it will become our most-read ever.
Now, I only need 10 more of you to convert free subscriptions to paid ones, which will make you members of the CulinaryWoman Community.
A paid subscription has these benefits:
You become a more-informed person, able to dazzle friends, family and colleagues with your knowledge of the culinary scene.
You receive a weekly heads up on what will be in the next newsletter.
You are automatically entered for drawings, including food gifts, cookbooks, CW swag and other goodies.
You make sure our journalism continues.
I am so appreciative of all our readers, but CulinaryWoman Community members have a special place in my heart.
Please think about converting to a paid subscription. Click the “Subscribe Now” button and it will let yo upgrade.
You can sign up for a monthly plan to test whether you are getting good value, or pay all at once for a year. If you’re feeling extra generous, our Founding Member category is also available.
I will let you know as we get close to our goal. When we reach it, I have a special autographed book drawing in mind for community members in February 2022. Hint: your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Thank you, and enjoy this holiday week!
I cherish my CW subscription.
