If you are an avid cookbook reader like me, you know that they tend to come out at two times during the year: spring and fall. There is a big community of home cooks who can’t wait for new titles to arrive.

Meanwhile, television series about cooking and dining have just as fervent a fan base, especially people who love the Great British Bake Off. We are getting a flood of both types of media, so much that it is hard to know what to read or watch first.
