Self-scanners: love them or hate them?

I am a big fan of self-checkin, checkout, whatever you’ve got. Give your QR menu codes (as long as there’s an opportunity to make modifications). Most of the time, I don’t need a bag for my purchases at CVS or elsewhere, I just scan and go.

As someone who worked in a department store, they are right up my alley. No need to tie up a human’s time when they can be helping someone else.
