Welcome to the summer of the Strawberry Matcha Latte.
It seems like everyone, from Singapore, to London, to right here in Ann Arbor has embraced this combination of flavors. At Sip Boba House, owner Aaron Stevens tells me it’s his second most-popular drink, behind Cosmic Lemonade, another colorful concoction.
The elements of a strawberry matcha latte are exactly what the name describes: strawberry syrup or puree, green tea, usually also in syrup form, and some kind of milk. The beverage is most commonly served over ice.
