I appreciate the links and often click through to read them. Periodically the info (usually an article) on the "other side" of the link is protected as subscriber only - such as the Wash Post - but that's OK. I've ordered some of your noted cookbooks from websites when you've included a link to a (non-local to me) book store and wouldn't have done so otherwise w/o the link.
Hello! Nice to (virtually) meet you!!! I am Yuka Amano, currently unemployed Japanese woman living in São Paulo, Brazil. I totally understand your point on leaving a link on your lovely articles however I often hesitate to click links away being warned by occasionally harmful links that unfortunately happens at internet cyberspace… (I don’t mean here to say you are not credible, please believe me). I feel this specially because I am total ignorant about cyberspace security and that is the only reason I hesitate to click on links. If I were more expert on these issues and knew for sure the link is safe, I would be certainly happy to browse through your links!!! This is just my humble opinion… I specifically loved “Men in Suits” article. I am a big fan of Kake san as well!!! Somehow he saved my life and surely you are part of the history. Thank you so much for being you and doing your lovely work so kindly…
I frequently click on links from newsletters if I want more detail about a story. But often what is in a newsletter is enough in this age of information overload. I say keep them if they are not a nuisance for those that do want the full story.

Lots of love from São Paulo, Brazil…
I'm one of those people who loves links -- please keep them!
I count on links to add to the story and send me to articles/ places/people I wouldn’t know otherwise. In short, more links please
If it doesn't take too much of your time - I think links a great for all the reasons you mentioned!
